The Faculty of Music Education consists of the Department of Music Education
and the Institute of Choir Conducting.
The Department of Music Education, represented by a/o Zofia Burowska and Jerzy Kurcz,
deals with research in music pedagogy and psychology,
pedeutology and music culture formation. The results of research are documented in several
publications: La-ti-do, The Cracow Concept of Musical Education.
The Institute of Choir Conducting integrates the artistic and didactic activities
of the Department and supervises the courses connected
with the conducting of vocal-instrumental ensembles.
